2015 Valle Reale, Montepulciano d’Abruzzo – organic

Located in the green heart of Abruzzo, Valle Reale’s vineyards are situated inside one of Italy’s most beautiful national parks. This is a wild paradise, with deep gorges carved by glaciers, crystal-clear springs and a diverse array of flora and fauna. Valle Reale is one of the few wine-producing estates in this area of pristine beauty. The topography and climate of this part of Abruzzo is completely different from the rest of the region and unique within central Italy.

Bright ruby-red in color, this youthful red offers explosive aromas of blueberries, cherries, licorice,
and sweet spices. On the palate, it is medium-bodied with plentiful acidity and a pleasant finish. Saludi!

2011 Tarima Monastrell – organic

The chalky-soiled vineyards located in Alicante, Spain have an elevation of 2100 feet and are planted with 25 to 35-year old Monastrell vines. The wine is 100% stainless-steeled fermented. Red raspberries, cooked cherries and mulberries show in the expressive nose and mouth; the middle and the finish also offer black plums and black raisins. Spices herbs and chocolate mark the finish as well. This wine is smooth with a silky texture; abundant mineral notes including light chalky tannins. Isalud!

2012 Tortoise Creek Cabernet Sauvignon – sustainably farmed & harvested

2013 Tortoise Creek Cabernet Sauvignon –  Produced with top-quality fruit loaded with aromas and flavors of red and black cherries, supported by vanilla and cedar nuances. This domestic wine pays tribute to the old stretch of highway 99 running through the town of Lodi, California and surrounding Vineyards.

2012 Château Beynat, Côtes de Castillon – Bordeaux – organic

Dark purple (almost black) coloration. Intense & complex nose with notes of ripe, black, candied fruits. Well structured, smooth & silky. à votre santé!

2013 Ventana Pinot Noir – sustainably farmed and harvested

Ventana’s Pinot Noir, Arroyo Seco Monterey California has an explosion of vibrant cherry, raspberry, and cranberry flavors with a delicious hint of chocolate. Ten months of barrel aging rounds out the flavor complexities with a touch of smokiness and vanilla. The wine is medium bodied and a bright berry red color. Cheers!

Fattoria Selvapiana Chianti Rufina 2014 – organic

This wonderful Chianti from Rufina, Italy is made with Sangiovese grapes (with a small amount of Canaiolo). It is vinified in thermo-regulated stainless steel tanks at a fermentation temperature of 28° C. It then spends time in steel tanks (30%), Sessile oak casks (50%) and barriques (20%). After blending, the wine is refined in French oak casks for two months. Elegant and fragrant, this opens with aromas of pressed rose, crushed violet, wild berry and spice. The vibrant, focused palate delivers juicy red cherry, raspberry, white pepper, cinnamon and dried herb. It’s well balanced, with supple tannins and bright acidity. Saludi!


2014 Reuilly Blanc- organic

Reuilly, France is in Sauvignon Blanc territory, an ancient winemaking village that today has only about 300 acres in vines. The bottling, Pierres Plates, is from a specific vineyard with Chablis-like soil full of chalk, fossils and sea shells. Try to imagine Sancerre grown at Chablis. The fruit is lively, with white flower perfumes, citrus and minerality. It has finesse and precision.

If you want to experience the minerality, notice the first impression on the palate, which is of fresh, cushiony, Sancerre-like Sauvignon Blanc. Then, immediately, there is a firmness, a stony firmness that appears from within the wine. Let’s call it Terroir to the Rescue, because a wine with nothing but pure fruit seems banal. Sante!

2014 Tiamo Pinot Grigio – organic

Light aromas of fresh pear and on the palate is crisp fruit forward but wonderfully elegant. This wine comes from organically farmed vineyards in the heart of Venezia, Italy. The perfect aperitif! Saludi!

2014 Vinho Verde Trajadura Aveleda– kosher

With a new image, this classic Aveleda Vinho Verde Trajadura grape from Penafiel, Portugal maintains its essence: young, with smooth and delicate aromas. On the mouth it shows fresh and vibrant. Saude!

Dibon Cava Brut – organic

Light, crisp, golden tones of sparkling wine from Vilafranca del Penedes, Barcelona, Spain. This bubbly wine has aromas of apples and pears with pleasant floral notes. Crisp and light-bodied on the palate, stone fruit flavors are paired with a mild minerality and balanced acidity. Fermentation of natural yeast in the bottle. Perfect for any celebration! Isalud!

Francois Montand Brut

During WWII, Francois Montand chose to leave his native home of Champagne; relocating to Jura. Risking his life by crossing the German occupied town of Dole, Monstand took only a few vines with him to replant in the Jura. He rebuilt his life there and never went back to Champagne! The soil of Jura, France, composed of limestone and glacial moraines, provides this sparkling wine an abundance of flavor and texture. The climate in this region is harsh in the winter and irregular in the summer, giving this bubbly split its fruity crisp finish. Sante!

Zardetto Private Cuvee Brut – organic

This fresh, lively brut wine exhibits notions of orange rind, brioche, and honeyed grapefruit. Light-bodied, effervescent, and packing plenty of flavor in its delicate personality. Saludi!
